COACH OF THE YEAR

Kathy Desmond and Frank Pace, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy

Already having been enshrined in the school’s hall of fame, Desmond and Pace returned at least for one season to reignite the program, and after a one-year hiatus, the Tologs were back in the CIF Southern Section Division I playoffs. FSHA lost to Los Osos, 1-0, in overtime on a penalty kick, but the program showed vast improvement, going 10-6-5, 4-2-2 in the Mission League for second place a season removed from going 9-9-2, 2-7-1 in league for fifth place.
